For a Singapore-based surface-treatment manufacturer's entry into the Korean market, we acted as agent for its Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) report and advised on the structure for acquiring a domestic company. By tying the investment report and the acquisition procedure into a single schedule, we designed the process so that the capital remittance, the acquisition of shares, and the registration as a Foreign-Invested Company would flow smoothly in sequence. We also jointly examined the licensing and environmental regulations particular to the manufacturing industry, thereby reviewing post-acquisition operational risks in advance.
